Accessibility statement
Accessible Database Manager is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA and to work well with the tools people who are blind or have low vision use every day.
What we do
- Semantic HTML5 with landmark regions (banner, navigation, main, contentinfo) on every page.
- ARIA used to describe state and relationships — required fields, invalid fields, live status messages, and grouped controls.
- A visible “skip to main content” link and a logical, predictable tab order.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA, plus a dedicated high-contrast theme.
- Text that scales without breaking the layout, and a text-size preference saved to your account.
- Focus is always visible and never removed.
- Motion is reduced automatically when your device requests it.
- Full keyboard operation — no action needs a mouse.
- Status messages (saved, deleted, errors) are announced through a polite live region.
Designed with notetakers in mind
Record lists use proper table markup so braille displays and screen readers announce each field name with its value. Templates mirror the everyday lists found on devices such as the BrailleNote and Braille Sense — address books, to-do lists, appointments, and more.
