Single-key shortcuts

These work anywhere except while typing in a field, and can be switched off in Settings:

• / — jump to the search box on the current page
• n — add a record (when viewing a database you can write to)
• ? — open this help page

Getting around

• Press Tab to move to the next control and Shift+Tab to move back.
• The first link on every page, Skip to main content, jumps past the menu.
• Use your screen reader's landmark or heading commands to jump between the banner, navigation, main content, and footer regions.
• Every page has one main heading (level 1) and sections use headings in order.

Working with tables of records

• Record lists are real HTML tables with row and column headers, so table navigation commands announce the field name with each value.
• The first column is the record's title (the primary field) and links to the full record.
• Use the search box above a table to filter records.

Forms

• Required fields are marked and announced as required.
• If something is wrong, the error message is linked to the field and read out; focus moves to the first problem.
• Choice fields with several options are grouped so their label is announced.

Display preferences

On the Settings page you can switch between light, dark, and high-contrast themes, and choose a larger text size. These preferences are saved to your account.
